Here's a new kind of article... our very FIRST Behind the Scenes look at Starlight News Network. Jack here, writing for you.
As is now known, it's almost the one year anniversary of the paper's founding. but who runs it? what rules do we have? what goes on in the office? Time to answer a few questions.
First, our staff consists of the following:
Jack, Editor-In-Chief, CEO, and founder of SNN (Yours truly.)
Lumanare, Head Writer and Chief reporter of SNN
Glitchy, Director of publishing and weatherglitch
Anima, Director of Advertising and sports reporter
Aitos, Eye in the Sky roving reporter
and Xander, our Roving Reporter.
Yes, we number only Six staff, funny huh?
Next up, rules we have. Anything can be a story to someone, but we strive for good quality stories your interested in as a populace. That being said, Rule #1 we have is "If it aint Interesting, it aint news.". Rule #2 is what we call the 3AM rule. Since this blog is run on the East Coast (though strangely using Pacific Time...), we instated this rule as 3 AM is 12 AM PT, and thus, has been midnight globally. We try to print before that time. Rule #3 is "If you have a story, but miss Rule 2, send it anyway.". We have the Historia crux, so we can Retroactively publish stories in the now, and send em into the past for publshing, though, the distortion disables our public feed for the day.
More rules will be revealed in later editions.
Lastly, for this first BTS, "What goes on in the Office?". Well, it's a chill place. we talk, debate, listen to music, and chill out. We believe in a relaxed work environment, and as such, chains into Rule #4: "NEVER work while stressed.". This ensures YOU get the BEST stories we can find. We take our jobs seriously, and do have a tip line at +1 (555)7827-54448 (Starlight.) so if you have news, send it in!
