BREAKING: Sanae hatches plan!

Well folks, Sanae's up to her tricks again...


A call received tonight has brought Sanae to us saying she has a plan, and an army to complete it with. The Army's benefactor is currently unknown, but is suspected to be the Bion. As this story is quite literally fresh off the press, there isnt much to it right now, so please, stay tuned to SNN as we bring you updates.

QUESTION: Schedule Change?

I have been writing for a long while now, almost a year. As such, I might change the schedule to be only Monday through Friday. If I were to execute this, would anyone mind? This blog wears on me some nights, but I want to continue providing news and writing it. I'll think on it. As such, There wont be a news post tomorrow.

This is a notice to say we estimate sometime in late May to Early June BTS #2 will be put out. We received many good questions, and have some answers to put up! We anticipate a May 31st release, as it falls on the 1st anniversary of the paper. and yes, this is the night's article.

Simon killed by Jack!

Well folks, Jack's done it again...


This time, Jack has found Simon and dueled him for Histia. Jack successfully won the fight, and Simon is now dead, bifurcated by Jack in one final attack to end his reign of death once and for all. Jack has gone back to holding the Crux safe from all harm. With this, as of right now, no other wielders are known to live inside the city.

With thi, Jack is proving to be THE first and last wielder Histia will ever need...

BREAKING: Simon Kidnaps Histia!

Well folks, hopefully next week wont be a break week... might be. but that's not the article. What is however, is below...



Histia has been kidnapped by Simon, her insane previous user before Jack. He issued Jack a note, followed by a challenge to come find him and "return the crux to it's rightful user.". Jack has accepted this challenge, and will find and destroy Simon. As of right now, Jack is gearing up for the brawl, so he is unavailable.

Well folks, with the hit of our first BTS, we now ask this of you. We want to do more of them, but we lack one key thing... Questions! We need YOUR help. Send us any questions you have, and we will compile the best into a second BTS!

BTS: What goes on at SNN

Here's a new kind of article... our very FIRST Behind the Scenes look at Starlight News Network. Jack here, writing for you.


As is now known, it's almost the one year anniversary of the paper's founding. but who runs it? what rules do we have? what goes on in the office? Time to answer a few questions.


First, our staff consists of the following:

Jack, Editor-In-Chief, CEO, and founder of SNN (Yours truly.)
Lumanare, Head Writer and Chief reporter of SNN
Glitchy, Director of publishing and weatherglitch
Anima, Director of Advertising and sports reporter
Aitos, Eye in the Sky roving reporter
and Xander, our Roving Reporter.

Yes, we number only Six staff, funny huh?

Next up, rules we have. Anything can be a story to someone, but we strive for good quality stories your interested in as a populace. That being said, Rule #1 we have is "If it aint Interesting, it aint news.". Rule #2 is what we call the 3AM rule. Since this blog is run on the East Coast (though strangely using Pacific Time...), we instated this rule as 3 AM is 12 AM PT, and thus, has been midnight globally. We try to print before that time. Rule #3 is "If you have a story, but miss Rule 2, send it anyway.". We have the Historia crux, so we can Retroactively publish stories in the now, and send em into the past for publshing, though, the distortion disables our public feed for the day.

More rules will be revealed in later editions.

Lastly, for this first BTS, "What goes on in the Office?". Well, it's a chill place. we talk, debate, listen to music, and chill out. We believe in a relaxed work environment, and as such, chains into Rule #4: "NEVER work while stressed.". This ensures YOU get the BEST stories we can find. We take our jobs seriously, and do have a tip line at +1 (555)7827-54448 (Starlight.) so if you have news, send it in!

Namine gets a Heart!

Well folks, a return to form is nice for the folks of SNN...

A series of research notes and a vision Jack had have led to Namine not only having developed a heart. This isnt too abnormal for a Nobody, but this case is special as she could not sustain such Emotions, the fact that Namine had come VERY close to becoming an EXE earlier in the night didnt help. Therefore, Jack begged Heart to help Namine get a physical heart. With this, Jack has cut Namine off from Kairi forever, and granted her a new life. As this goes on, the Heartless grow in number and power...


A moving story one must of been there to believe...

Jack makes peace!

Well folks, Jack made peace with an unlikely ally...


Jack earlier tonight struck peace with Hydra and Organization XIII, using his notes as a peace offering. The proclaimed "God of Nobodies" accepted the gift after a series of events throughout the night. With this, the Hearbreakers and Dreamcrushers still threaten the city, however. But make no mistake, this is a major victory for the Complex and Hopebringers to have the Organization as allies, instead of foes.


I wonder what Sheath will do to counterattack this plan...
