Ok, so Real life's been catching up with me a bit... lets just say the paper took a break (and I ran out of countdown stuff) and will skip those days missed? I promise I wont miss the anniversary.

COUNTDOWN: BTS #1

BTS #1 was fun to do, and fun to write in universe. Outside of it, it's just one man writing all this, actually. But let that be our secret. If all this WERE happening, do ya think I'd honestly have time to write?

COUNTDOWN: Hydra's entry

Ah yes, Hydra. the now 14 part Nobody mastermind turned hero. He was a change of pace, and really is the cause of the Dreamcrushers being sidelined for a long while. course, they're coming back now...

That was VERY short lived, as honestly, is better off that way. Imagine having to write out both a main story, and a sports thing. Does Transcendence City even have any sports teams?

COUNTDOWN: Birth of Transcendence City!

Now that was somethin. All these years, I had Starlight, Luma's home... and not much else. the birth of a new location in Transcendence City was really what overtook Starlight, becoming a major plan, and eventually extending out of it's origin to become a major part of Luma's life.

COUNTDOWN: Xander's freedom

This one came as a surprise. I never thought Nightfall would be suppressed, and so, never got to know Xander fully. That was a major event, as it signified the change to the more modern Starlight we have today, which became the layout of Transcendence City.

COUNTDOWN: Aitos comes in!

Well, #2 of the countdown has to be when Aitos came in. That was a cool thing, as Luma had a son now, and he loved him so. he's still here, and he originally came up as an idea in an old RP with a close friend.

What batter way to begin our countdown than on Article #1? God, that was somethin. I was unsure if it would be just a one off, or not. I had a lot more time then, and remember how I rushed to put each article up by 11PM EST nightly... Good ting I got more lax as time went on.

Hydra forms new part!

Well folks, we might have a long one...


Hydra, the completed Nobody, has begun to seek out new fragments to increase his power, and to help Nobodies establish a new world. Said part was given by Eiki Shiki, Yamaxanadu; better known as Shikieiki or Shiki. This new fourteenth part is called "Order" and represents the Law and Order needed to make a civilization.


Said part is in a Black and White suit, with a white version of Shiki's "Rod of Remorse" hanging from his black side, and a Crystal mirror, which is used to view a soul's memories, hanging on his White side (his left.). He also has a Black eye on his White suit side, and a Black eye on the other. All in all, he looks like a walking Yin-Yang, and has the attitude of what a judge should have.


He is currently out with Space to try and find a place to start Hydra's plan of a Nobody civilization.

DEVELOPING: Aitos finds old keys!

Well folks, Aitos found some old keys again...


These keys seem to be of an unknown design. They seem to match a set of keys described by Jack in his journal of Ivalice as keys to an airship known as the Strahl... Further investigation is being done into these mysterious keys, and this supposed airship known a the Strahl.


Could Aitos get a major airship upgrade...?

I have been writing for a long while now, almost a year. As such, I might change the schedule to be only Monday through Friday. If I were to execute this, would anyone mind? Simon killed by Jack!

Well folks, Jack's done it again...


This time, Jack has found Simon and dueled him for Histia. Jack successfully won the fight, and Simon is now dead, bifurcated by Jack in one final attack to end his reign of death once and for all. Jack has gone back to holding the Crux safe from all harm. With this, as of right now, no other wielders are known to live inside the city.

With thi, Jack is proving to be THE first and last wielder Histia will ever need...

Histia has been kidnapped by Simon, her insane previous user before Jack. He issued Jack a note, followed by a challenge to come find him and "return the crux to it's rightful user.". Jack has accepted this challenge, and will find and destroy Simon. As of right now, Jack is gearing up for the brawl, so he is unavailable.

Well folks, with the hit of our first BTS, we now ask this of you. We want to do more of them, but we lack one key thing... Questions! We need YOUR help. Send us any questions you have, and we will compile the best into a second BTS!

BTS: What goes on at SNN

Here's a new kind of article... our very FIRST Behind the Scenes look at Starlight News Network. Jack here, writing for you.


As is now known, it's almost the one year anniversary of the paper's founding. but who runs it? what rules do we have? what goes on in the office? Time to answer a few questions.


First, our staff consists of the following:

Jack, Editor-In-Chief, CEO, and founder of SNN (Yours truly.)
Lumanare, Head Writer and Chief reporter of SNN
Glitchy, Director of publishing and weatherglitch
Anima, Director of Advertising and sports reporter
Aitos, Eye in the Sky roving reporter
and Xander, our Roving Reporter.

Yes, we number only Six staff, funny huh?

Next up, rules we have. Anything can be a story to someone, but we strive for good quality stories your interested in as a populace. That being said, Rule #1 we have is "If it aint Interesting, it aint news.". Rule #2 is what we call the 3AM rule. Since this blog is run on the East Coast (though strangely using Pacific Time...), we instated this rule as 3 AM is 12 AM PT, and thus, has been midnight globally. We try to print before that time. Rule #3 is "If you have a story, but miss Rule 2, send it anyway.". We have the Historia crux, so we can Retroactively publish stories in the now, and send em into the past for publshing, though, the distortion disables our public feed for the day.

More rules will be revealed in later editions.

Lastly, for this first BTS, "What goes on in the Office?". Well, it's a chill place. we talk, debate, listen to music, and chill out. We believe in a relaxed work environment, and as such, chains into Rule #4: "NEVER work while stressed.". This ensures YOU get the BEST stories we can find. Namine gets a Heart!

Well folks, a return to form is nice for the folks of SNN...

A series of research notes and a vision Jack had have led to Namine not only having developed a heart. This isnt too abnormal for a Nobody, but this case is special as she could not sustain such Emotions, the fact that Namine had come VERY close to becoming an EXE earlier in the night didnt help. Therefore, Jack begged Heart to help Namine get a physical heart. With this, Jack has cut Namine off from Kairi forever, and granted her a new life. As this goes on, the Heartless grow in number and power...

Jack makes peace!

Well folks, Jack made peace with an unlikely ally...


Jack earlier tonight struck peace with Hydra and Organization XIII, using his notes as a peace offering. The proclaimed "God of Nobodies" accepted the gift after a series of events throughout the night. With this, the Hearbreakers and Dreamcrushers still threaten the city, however. But make no mistake, this is a major victory for the Complex and Hopebringers to have the Organization as allies, instead of foes.


I wonder what Sheath will do to counterattack this plan...

Namine and Kairi duel!

Well folks, Under Heart's orders, Kairi had to fight...


Jack had come to the theory that if Kairi exists a well as Namine, one of the two must go, as Namine is Kairi's nobody. After some sharp words by Jack that even questioned if Kairi was fit to be a Princess of Heart, Heart came down and stated that If Kairi believed she was a princess, she'd have to earn that title, and kill Namine. If Namine won however, it'd be her to be the princess. After given the grace to do so by Heart, Jack came in and helped Namine win. Namine was nearly killed, but a wild theory that Love heals all wounds managed to save her.


So now Kairi's heartless is on the loose... what now...?

Taiyo appears!

Well folks, Taiyo's come to play...


As Sanae had attempted to begin her ritual, Odia had managed to save Suwako by hiding among Sanae's number. this naturally caused Sanae to be pissed. Later the same night, a man named Taiyo Margatroid had shown up form an alternate timeline, and now stays with us. He is a man of Jack's height, golden blonde hair, amber eyes, and is commonly flanked by his 11 puppets. They are the Planet gang, consisting of 9 members, Trappist, and Transcendence. He is currently staying in the complex with us for an undetermined amount of time.

DEVELOPING: Sanae begins ritual!

Well folks, Sanae has begun her dark ritual...


In an effort to consecrate her godhood, Sanae has begun her ritual to steal Suwako's power. As this has only begun, we still have time to save her. However, to be effective, we must have a plan, so we cant just charge in gung-ho and save her.

BREAKING: Hydra completed!

Well folks, Hydra's finally done it.


Hydra, the infamously famous Nobody, has been completed. He generated his last 4 parts tonight, and now possesses god-like powers. However, he has developed a crush on Larxene, going so far as to kill her Somebody to bring her back, to which Relena, her Somebody, actually wanted. While we at the complex hate Hydra, we must wish him good luck in his newfound love.


Yes folks, I just gave Hydra praise. but then again, all deserve Love. Except Bion... they're machines though.

DEVELOPING: Jack' dreams continue!

Well folks, Jack's log is growing...


Jack has been having more and more weird dreams about Bloodmire Manor and the Blood Game that follows. He says it's happened for 10 days, and will only end when the resolution occurs... Last "Dream Arc" he had was detailed as the Rescue Arc, and featured Alice Margatroid for some reason. As of right now, Jack hasnt said anything more on the topic, aying he "Needs to figure it all out"...


Why has Jack been having these dreams? Is it a sign of things to Come? or something much worse...?

Jack meets Transcender's spirit!

Well folks, Jack went into the Transcender again...


This time, Jack's entry into the Transcender Keyblade was to meet the spirit of the keyblade. He learned her name is Tanny, and she is the newly born spirit. She got to meet Ultima, Elise and learn from all three who Jack is, and what he stands for. It was a very unique experience, and surprisingly, no one attacked the City, The Complex, or it's outlying area...

BREAKING: Hydra forms Pact!

Well folks, Hydra has a new pact...


Hydra, Wolf, and Sanae have formed their own Dreamcrusher style pact with the intent to destroy what was left of Gensokyo, and achieve godhood. The trio do not have a name for their alliance yet, and as soon as we catch word of one, we will report it. This however, has not affected the Dreamcrushers yet, and is unknown if it will at all.

DEVELOPING: Transcender develops a spirit!

Well folks, more news on the Keyblade Transcender...


As previously reported, Jack created the Transcender, and told us all of the city was it's spirit. It seems to have taken some of this spirit energy and created a spirit of it's own. What the spirit looks like is unknown, but what is known is the spirit exists inside it. Jack himself has yet to see the spirit as well, so not even he can comment. As such, he can say though that it will have the Mark of Transcendence on it somewhere.


What does it look like? Is it a boy or girl? how did it truly come to be?

BREAKING: Sanae captures Suwako!

Well folks, Sanae managed to do it...


in a three man effort, Sanae, Hydra and Kakuro worked to capture Suwako, with Hydra's Water part capturing Suwako and bringing her to Sanae. The reason Sanae wants Suwako is still unclear, but it might have something to do with Sanae being related, and seeking to become a goddess.

Jack forges Keyblade!

Well folks, here's a new twist...


Jack was tragically slain in battle against Sanae and the now corrupted Kakuro, only to come back in his daughter Xion's hands as the Keyblade known as Transcender, which gives a 6 Strength boost, and a 4 Magic boost. it has the ability "All Critical" which ensures 93% (or 15 out of 17 hits) will critical hit. After Jack's restoration, the Keyblade remains in existence, now using ALL of Transcendence City as it's spirit. The blade has a city like design for his handle, a silver Transcendence Mark for it's keychain, with the chain being gold. this marks Jack's fifth Keyblade



Indeed, even you, the reader, are now part of the Transcender's spirit...

Jack has taken Suwako off of earth and to Dementia to hide her away from Sanae, who shot down Mokou. Mokou is in recovery, and is expected to recover fully. Sanae is most likely out for her ancestor's blood to make herself a goddess, as well as take her powers over.

DEVELOPING: Jack recovers Kingdom Key!

Well folks... Jack won another duel...

Jack challenged Sora to a duel, calling her corrupt. He put the Edge of Ultima up on the line in exchange for her Kingdom Key. The two dueled it out over Kingdom Hearts, with Jack emerging as the victor. Jack then went to work on restoring the Kingdom Key's vigor and livelyhood, ending in a successful mission. Kingdom now follows Jack as one of his keyblades, alongside Ultima and Elise.


With this under his belt, Jack grows more powerful daily...

Jack makes discovery!

Well folks, Jack discovered something...


Jack found out earlier tonight that the Edge of Ultima is a Keyblade of the realm of Darkness, making Ultima a Heartless. When confronted with this truth, Jack accepted the fact well. Normally, Jack wants all Heartless dead, with only two exceptions. These exceptions are Neo, a female Neoshadow; and now Ultima, his own Keyblade. Jack also deduced Elise, and thus the Detection Saber, is the Nobody half.

With this, Jack still fights heartless... maybe it grew on him...

DEVELOPING: Jack hops into Time!

Well folks, Jack is ever the hero...


Jack has jumped into time to go and chase Hydra down to stop him from destroying Gensokyo. As it stands right now, the two are dueling in the time flow, each one fighting for an objective. Jack wanting to save Gensokyo, and Hydra wanting to burn it to the ground, while maybe finding his 9th fragment.


I hope Jack makes it...

BREAKING: Hydra jumps into time!

Well folks, Hydra's got big plans...


As stated by the title, Hydra has jumped into time, going back to 1997 to prevent Reimu from starting her life's mission to save Gensokyo by killing her with far superior technology. If Hydra succeeds, it will spell the final blow to Gensokyo, and may even outright erase it... We hope that is not the case, and that Jack can fix the damage before it's caused. Even now as I write, Jack is using the Crux to head back and save her.


Jack... You hold Gensokyo's future on the line...

Junko forges contract!

Well folks, Junko has forged a new contract...


In light of Chang'e's failed attack on the complex, Jack offered Junko a choice. Sign a small contract that overrides Chang'e, or leave with her. Junko signed, and Jack revealed the contract bound her to the entire complex, and gave her free will over her life. As such, she now can choose NOT to follow Chang'e's orders.


This is a bold move on Jack's part, as the Lunar war has begun. This marks a big victory, but not the war yet...

DEVELOPING: Xander possessed!

Well folks, old possessions die hard, and this is no different...

Xander, the man who was formerly Nightfall, has been repossessed by this twisted side of him. As it stands, Nightfall has done nothing in our world yet. He seems to be planning something big, but it doesnt involve our world, nor the moon. This is very strange for Nightfall, and stranger still he's back.

With his possible return, what could it mean...?

Tensions Rise! Lunar War on the Horizon?

Well folks, Bo's being hunted...


Chang'e has found out about Jack's successful mission, and has taken up her Lunar bow to shoot Bo down, then hunt Jack for helping Junko, declaring him an enemy of the moon. Jack and Bo however, are taking this as a chance to improve. Bo is looking to show that the hunter, now being the Hunted, can still win. Jack wants to shoot Chang'e down to "Finish the job". Jack has also planned to allow Junko to deal the fatal blow to Chang'e in an act of revenge.

Jack was last seen heading to Eientei to get Eirin, Reisen and Kaguya's help, while Bo was seen crafting new arrows to help combat Chang'e. He said these arrows were "of Lunarian origin", citing that the best way to fight the moon was WITH the moon. Jack has also been working on getting Mark, the Moon Beast ready for the fight. Meanwhile, Chang'e has been preparing herself, training her Lunar Defense Corps. to fight the people of Transcendence City. She has also been preparing a scout team and weapons to fight Jack and Bo herself.

As all of this is going on, Aitos has sent the message that a war much bigger than Hydra or the Bion is on the Horizon, whit this possibly being Transcendence City's biggest fight. as of right now, however, No side has fired the initial shot yet, so it's more tensions are rising between the Lunar Capital and Transcendence City. Also in play is Gibby, the king of the Lunar surface, who is trying to stop Chang'e from making "A fatal mistake".

With all out war a possible future, can Gibby pull through and stop what will be Transcendence City's equal to the Cold War...? Or will the tensions snap, and a full out war happen...?

Breaking news Folks...


It seems Chang'e, the one who originally would of killed Bo, has come. She has come to "Finish what she should of". She'll more than likely target Bo and Junko, wanting them both to die. As of right now, she is still in her Lunar palace, but is working on a way to get to Earth.

DEVELOPING: Lady Bloodmire strikes deal!

Well folks, Lady Bloodmire is making a deal with others...

In an unsurprising move, given how Bloodmire Manor seems to be ominous, the mysterious lady of the manor has struck a deal with Remilia and Hydra, promising them both power in exchange for their help. The two agreed, and now work alongside her to capture Gensokyians and experiment on them. There are no reported deaths, thankfully, but several people are listed missing.

BREAKING: Hydra plants bomb!

Well folks, Hydra planted a bomb...


In the ruins of Gensokyo, several wires were found. These wires were found to be bomb wires, set all over the ruins, yet no bombs were found. However, the residents of Chireiden have reported unusual activity in the caves under Gensokyo. Turns out Hydra has planted bombs all over Gensokyo, with the intent of blowing the place to dust, then redo it in the REAL equal to Gensokyo, thus ending any hope Gensokyo can revive...


This is a serious situation. Not only is Gensokyo at risk, but anything below it is as well.

SPORTS: Samara wins blood game!

Well, well, well... The game has come to an end.


Samara managed to sneak up on Jack, and then fatally stabbed him in the back, forcing his Crystal into her well, where it fell in and submerged, killing Jack. Jack is thankfully fine, as Samara brought it back up so she could claim her victory, to which Jack agreed. This awarded her the 100 point decisive Victory, and surprised Sadako.

Jack revisits Spira!

Well folks, it's been 15 years...

15 years ago, a then 7 year old Jack would visit the land of Spira the first time. He hung out with Yuna and her Guardians, acting as the morale support of the team, all while not realizing what he was getting into. Now, 15 years later at the age of 22, Jack has gone back to Spira to see how things have been for the last decade and a half. His visit was sadly cut VERY short by Hydra, who has kidnapped people in Transcendence City. Thankfully, Jack was able to save the lost souls.

Jack currently plans to head back to Spira again to participate in his first Blitzball Tournament in 15 years. Back then, he was in the Junior league, and was one of the best players. Now Jack is going to try out for a Major League Blitz team and join the sport again.

BREAKING: Bloodmire Manor Spotted!

Well folks, seems like Jack's dreams are becoming real...

Earlier today, Aitos confirmed rumors that the mysterious Bloodmire Manor in Jack's dreams is now sitting to the south of the City. Jack is currently unaware, as we await for any movement from the Manor.

SPORTS: Blood game target chosen!

Well folks, Jack picked a target...


Jack's chosen Target was, surprisingly, himself. He said that the first one to kill him would get an additional 100 kills to their score, creating a decisive victory. Jack has set the limit to Seven days, or one week, to score a fatal blow. He has said the challenge will begin at 3:00 AM Tuesday, February 21st, 2017. It will end at 2:59 AM on Tuesday, February 28th, 2017. He has wished both competitors good luck, and has said "May the better killer win".


With the score still at 50 a piece, who knows what Samara and Sadako will do to score the winning blow...

DEVELOPING: Bo discovers mysterious relic!

Well folks, Bo was hunting today, and he found something...


In the middle of a hunt, Bo turned up an mysterious relic believed to originate from a currently unknown world. It looks like a set of keys to something. As of what is currently unknown, but in my opinion, they look to be keys to some form of an airship. Jack is currently looking though his database to see what airship, if any, the keys match to, and if it can even be found.

In other news, the final tally is in for the blood game between Sadako and Samara. The results are a very surprising 50-50. Not just in terms of a percent, but in literal kills. When asked, Jack said he would "Get one final target worth 100 kills to create a decisive victory between them". Who the target is however, is currently unknown.

DEVELOPING: Hydra Kidnaps Hecatia!

Well this is new...


Hecatia was the victim of being kidnapped by Hydra with Wolf's help most likely. In response, Jack has ordered a task force to recover Hecatia, and return her to her normal life safely. This is a grave reminder that Wolf and Hydra are still around, and they can and will take advantage of new power.

Sorry about the recent string of no news... things actually got quiet in the city.


The Legendary Goddess of Hell, Hecatia Lapislazuli has awoken, and she is none too pleased with what Lucifer has done. In one night, she has gotten Xander to trap him, canceled all of his contracts with Jack and Zelloripus, while forcing Zelloripus to serve her 6,000 year sentence three times over, leaving her with 15,000 years of her sentence. She is currently clearing up the city of Lucifer's goons, and helping Jack track them.

With her arrival, and thus the arrival of the legendary Polos Crown Artifact... Things just got interesting.

Jack has been having strange dreams since Saturday, and has continued to have dreams. He is unsure if the dreams are prophetic or not, seeing as most of his dreams are such. Hydra raises Castle!

Well folks, Hydra has raised "His Castle"...


Using the power of the Miracle Mallet, Hydra has commanded that the Shining Needle Castle, now renamed the Twilight Fortress, to rise from thee ground. This move is unexpected, as most thought Hydra would of kept it underground to keep hidden. The "Twilight Fortress" is to serve as an outpost for Castle Oblivion, and for the Nobodies. Jack is currently formulating a battle plan to retake the Castle, and return it to Sukuna, who is the proper owner.

Jack rescues Bo!

Well folks, Jack has done it again.


As reported, Jack went into time to save Junko's son, Bo. Jack took his Extus Bow, and two Arrows to complete the task. He took only one shot to kill Houyi, and then a second to shoot a sniper in the trees near her house. As a result, Bo was saved and lived in the present time as a hunter, with his own version of the Extus Bow Jack has. Naturally, Junko was overjoyed to learn her son was alive. This has also more than likely painted a target on Jack's back for Chang'e to hunt him. Jack, as usual, asked for no reward in saving Bo.

Jack has dream!

Well folks, this might be the weirdest story ever...


Jack has decided to keep a dream journal after a dream he had last night. below is the exact content he put in his journal.


2-10-17

Had a strange dream I was in a school like building. It looked and felt like a college. on the front wall of the main enterance was a seeming damaged ad for their social Media, designed like a Facebook login. I had to rescue someone who looked like Alice Margatroid. She gave me a pendant to keep in touch. The pendant was gold, and had sevenn gemstones in it, each a different color, with a slot for an eighth, and the middle containing the eighth slot seemed to spin. we camped the night out in the buildings auditorium, where I made my promise to get her out safely. A few staff members tried to talk me out of my newfound mission, but I refused to listen to them. (Blurred section; see thoughts.) She put her soul into the pendant to keep herself safe from the staff, and to keep close. Upon learning she would be stuck there forever in three days time, I made my move to run with the pendant, and leave the building. The pendant however, failed to respond, and I realized I needed her body too. Dream came to a To Be Continued ending when I made it to the Auditorium doors, just about to open them.

Thoughts: An odd dream. I do hope I get to see this one through tonight... Looking back at what was in my dream, I'm pretty sure it WAS Alice, as she mentioned Shanghai by name, and how she didnt want to "Lose her"...


Blur Thought: It was me and Alice getting intamate. Nothing too sexual, just seeing each other naked... I think. Maybe touching was involved.

DEVELOPING: Jack jumps into time!

Well folks, Jack's heading to change fate...


Jack did his research into when Bo was killed, and is now on a journey to fix the life he had stolen. Jack is packing his things, and preparing to go and rescue Bo's life. This is all a secret mission by Jack to help get an edge over Wolf and Hydra. If Jack can restore Junko's honor and get her to focus of Chang'e and focus on the restoration of Gensokyo.

Jack make discovery!

Well folks, Jack made a discovery...


It turns out recent Complex stayer Junko had a hidden history. Jack used the Crux to look into her past to get to know who she was before the events of the current day when he found something shocking looking into Junko's past. It turns out Junko had a son named Bo, who was killed at a young age by a man named Houyi, who happened to be the Husband of Chang'e. This shocking reveal has made Jack put an APB out on Houyi for the murder, despite no one having seen him for years. Jack has also been looking through time to find Bo's short life, so he may, as he put it, "Undo the damage and return a life wrongfully taken." As it stands, Jack has not told Junko about any of this yet, and it is unlikely he will until he's ready.


Jack, I do admire you some days, but you overwork yourself for the good of others...

BREAKING: Hydra takes castle!

Well folks, Hydra took a castle to his own... but it's not Xander's...


Hydra took a small army of Nobodies and went underground, claiming to have found the Shining Needle Castle. He quickly assumed power over the castle, with plans to use it as a fortress to move troops. For those unaware, The Shining Needle Castle is where Sukuna comes from, as she is it's princess. With Hydra in control, it's only a matter of time before he finds the Miracle Mallet...

DEVELOPING: Wolf invades Xander's Fortress!

Well folks, Wolf fond a new target...


In a shocking move, Wolf invaded Xander's castle, and quickly took over. Thankfully, no one was killed or hurt. This attack comes unexpected as Wolf needed to find a way to get into Xander's realm. What's more is rumor has it Wolf has a portal set up to quickly move troops in and out as he pleases. Xander is currently hiding out in the Fabricated World, alongside Me and the Komeiji siblings.


How did Wolf get in...? Why Xander of all people? can we get him out?

Gensokyian found collapsed!

Well folks, We found another Gensokyian...


In the wake of the snowfall on the Blue Mountains, Jack found what is believed to be another Gensokyian in the snow. She was out cold, sadly, and looked to have been walking through the Mountains to avoid danger on the main road. She was picked up by Aitos's Arctic Weather Rescue Squadron and taken to the Solaris for medical treatment. The person found has brown hair, a rainbow ribbon in her hair, and upon inspection, matches the description of the supposed missing eldest Prismriver Sister, Layla Prismriver. It is unknown how long she had been in the Arctic conditions in the Blue Mountains, but it is hoped she wasn't out there for too long.


Of interest to note is that Layla has no official birth record, much like Rin Satsuki, another lost Gensokyian who has no records of existing.

Why did she show up...? Is she looking for her other 3 sisters? Why take the Arctic road though...?

Sanae returns, kidnaps Glitchy!

Well folks, it seems Sanae has returned...


As we expected, Sanae, the once former maiden of the Moriya Shrine, has returned. This time, she has taken Glitchy away for a as of yet unknown plan. Suwako and Kanako are currently unaware of this, but given that Glitchy has been missing all day, it's probable they'll find out soon. For those that are uninformed, Sanae's original plan was to become a Goddess by using Jack to gather Faith, which ended in failure.


If this plan fails, who will she use next...?

DEVELOPING: Jack freed!

Well folks, Jack's back...


Jack was confronted and successfully freed from his imprisonment by Sanae. Sanae was killed, but said she would be back. These words do not phase the complex, as we will be ready for whatever she decides to do next. In the mean time, Jack has offered to help the Moriya Shrine recover, and has been working on returning all the Stolen Faith.


What will Sanae do when she comes back...?

Finally, a day where Samara and Sadako literally kept quiet. Anyway...


Jack has on a peace mission to the damaged Moriya Shrine, when Suwako asked him for some Faith to help her have enough power to fix the Shrine. Jack obliged, and went in. Sanae knew of this plan, and told Suwako and Kanako that she could "Extract all the Faith they'd ever need, and more." from Jack. Believing in Sanae, both agreed to let her. What they got in return was a monstrous abomination of Jack, and Sanae revealing she got all the Faith they'd ever need. Obviously, Suwako and Kanako are pissed, as they wanted more Faith, they didn't want this. Sanae revealed she turned Jack into her own solider to gather Faith, and that they should be happy. Jack's soul is now trapped in his own body, his reprogrammed mind following Sanae's orders to "Gather as much Faith as you can hold, come back and drop it off, then repeat."


Jack is currently rampaging in South Gensokyo, doing whatever he can to fulfill Sanae's request. He plans to, as his twisted mind put it, "Drain all of Gensokyo's Faith to feed Mistress Sanae, so she may last forever. Then feed the excess to the Shrine to make it last forever as well."

Jack's current appearance has windblown Black hair, blood red eyes, a black coat going to his waist, a blood splattered blue shirt, grey pants, white finger-less gloves, and a pair of white and blue sneakers with a snake pattern printed on them. He also has two claw like weapons he calls his "Faith Extractors", which attach to his gloves at the base, extending past his knuckles.

Jack... I hope we can save you before you make Sanae a goddess... If that were to happen, the world would be at risk...

It's our own blood game, as the two Ring entities, Sadako and Samara, are on a duel. For those out of the loop, Sadako is the Japanese version of the Ring, Samara is the US/International version. Sadako is more brutal than Samara, and after a challenge from Jack, is competing against Samara to prove that, As Sakado put it before leaving for the Mission, "The Original is better than the Knock-off!". So far, score is unknown, but one things for sure, the target is not easy.

DEVELOPING: Jack studies new form!

Well folks, Jack is studying his new form more...

As Jack's magic has recently awoken, Jack has studied his new form in and out. Today however, he studied into the ability to Transcend in his new state, and found he has a new Transcendence form, and it has 2 stages. He also found while his in his magic state, it's linked to a different Transcendent planet than Tempest and Corona.

Well folks, Shitai's been at work already...


Shitai arrived yesterday with a page on him. Today, he found another page, the contents unknown so far. Jack is currently investigating the page to discover what memories it can contain. So far, the pages for every major effect have been found, and a few extra. We still have a large portion to find and recover successfully before Uboa can.

Well folks, something NOT related to Jack, or fully about Gensokyo...


A page of Mado's diary was found by Shitai-san. Shitai-san woke up in the Forrest of Magic, the page in his hands as he got up, and limped to the Complex. Following Medical attention, The page was revealed to contain Mado's memory of meeting Jack and getting the Witch effect on one side, and her first visit to Masada on the other. This page's value is beyond all current ones, as it contains some of her most treasured memories.

Jack studies spellbook!

Well folks, Jack's been targeted, but he hasn't stopped...


Now able to control his magic at will, he is studying into new spells and even into the book he creates when he becomes a mage. He's called it the "Grimoire of Fate", and has found some spells are for offense, some for defense, and a few for support within the pages. As he studies, he slowly grows to like his new side, and even embraces it, since it's part of him. To date, he has found 3 offensive spells, 4 defensive spells, and 2 support spells. As he studies, we will inform of any new spells found.

Well folks, Jack's new magic has made him a target...


In the wake of Jack's magic awakening, He has learned how to trigger this magic state on will. This has made him a target to Hydra, who wishes to extract this magic for future plans. Hydra is currently in talks with Wolf to capture Jack, and force him to expose his magic side.

Jack's Magic awakens!

Well folks, Jack's latent magic has shown...



After Joy received grievous injuries that became life threatening, Jack went looking for a way to save her. He soon found one of her incomplete spells, and then, as he put it, "Had a flash of light, and was suddenly writing." he changed appearance to that of a Silver haired man in blue robes with silver trim, amber colored eyes, and summoned a black spellbook with gold trimming to his side as he began to write and finished the spell exactly as Joy intended it to be. He was very calm, and spoke with as voice much like that of Aitos's. He was able to return to his usual gung-ho self when Joy cast a reverse spell on him. This also proved the appearance we saw was generated by his Magic's awakening, and is now treated as his opposite side.

DEVELOPING: More survivors emerge!

Well folks, Jack got wind of new survivors from Gensokyo...


It would seem that Shinmyomaru Sukuna has survived due to her small size, and is seeking refuge in Glitch City. She decided to stay there due to safety, and the fact Glitchy is much like her. For those unaware, Sukuna is a Kobito, or Inchling. She is also considered to be the princess of the Shining Needle Castle. her preferred weapon is her Miracle Mallet, and her Sewing Needle sword. She has eluded Wolf for now, and visits the Complex from time to time.


How long can she avoid Wolf though...?

Glitchy finds mysterious crystal!

Well folks, Glitchy found a crystal of unknown origin...


Following a routine travel in Glitch City, Glitchy stumbled upon a mysterious crystal. the crystal seems to radiate a strange energy. Jack was called in to excavate the crystal, to which he encapsulated the excavated object for further research. He has already deduced that it is NOT an elemental one like his lightning Crystal. He has yet to really dig into this find, but as usual, we will report on it.


Where did it come from...? is it earthly...? what is it exactly...?

BREAKING: Aitos makes discovery!

Well folks, Aitos read into those texts...


It appears that someone who had the Crux before Jack had tried to combine it with the Gold Armlet's jewel to make a mixed bracer. the results were sadly not listed, but given that the two are still separate, it seems quite likely the person failed. Sadly, time has worn away the name of the writer of these texts, but given the appearance of them, it's likely they came from a long dead civilization.

Jack receives medal!

Well folks, Jack got a medal...


The Coalition has found out about Jack's venture, and has issued him a medal of service for his continued deeds as an officer. He has also received a medal of distinguished service from the Lunar Defense Corps for his actions. These two medals just add to the long list of accolades Jack has acquired in his lifetime, as he prepares to face Hydra and Wolf once more on earth.

Jack saves Junko!

Well folks, Jack's lunar saga ends...


Jack found Junko, and after a series of events too gruesome to describe in the papers that involved forbidden power, found out a woman named Chang'e was her mistress. Jack sought her out, and found she had a lengthy list of crimes including but not limited to, Rape, Murder, Regicide, Grand theft, and murder of a Lunar officer, to name a few. She was put to death for her crimes, and Junko was happy to join the complex.



Despite this, we still got Wolf, Hydra and the Dreamcrushers to handle...

Jack forges peace!

Well folks, Jack has done it again...

In his duties as a Coalition officer, he has successfully made peace with the Lunarians and Earth. He has yet to find Junko, however. The Hellbender is alo fixed up and ready to go, but Jack has said he is "In this for the long haul now." Jack has decided to use Eirin's hospital as a temporary outpost for the mission, and plans to stay until Junko answers for her letter.

Jack seeks refuge!

Well folks.... Jack's Lunar Saga continues....


Jack, having been shot down, has lived, as mentioned yesterday. He has managed to find out the Lunarians did NOT want to kill him, and shot him down believing he was in league with Junko, to which Jack clear that up. Jack was given Shelter by Eirin, who has promised to get Reisen to fix his ship while he's on his quest. The Lunarians apologized to Jack for the shot, and offered the "Crystal branch", a take on the earth tradition of an olive branch, to which Jack responded with "hey, 's all cool. was thinkin bout burryin the hatchet too.". This marks a new era of peace for the Complex and the Lunarians.


I hope Jack can find Junko soon... I miss him.

DEVELOPING: Jack Crash lands!

Well folks... Jack made it to the moon...



Jack made it to lunar orbit, but was shot down by the Lunarians, and crashed somewhere on the moon. Jack is alive, and the hellbender is ok, but lost power. Jack is currently stranded on the moon, looking for Junko to "settle the score" with her and will do anything necessary to get to her, including walk through hell itself to find her. Jack was last seen heading for the Lunar Capital, gun in hand in case of danger.


I hope Jack can make it back alive...

Well folks, Jack's off to investigate the letter...


Jack went into the hellbender, his mysterious letter in hand, and said he was heading to the moon to resolve this. He told me it's from a woman named Junko, and that she has issued a challenge to Jack, stating he was "Too Impure to live" and was "Unworthy of his powers". Jack responded by telling her exactly where she could shove those words, and went to his room to prepare.

Well folks, Jack got another message...


This message came to Jack earlier, with no known sender. upon opening it, it was written in a strange language, but Jack seemed to understand and took it as a call to action. When asked about it, Jack replied "She's really done it now..." Implying Jack knows this person. Xander refused to take the letter or envelope, saying it was "too pure even for his armor to hold.".


What kind of being can create something that pure and holy? Is it even a being we know about? and how does Jack know her...?

Wolf levels South Gensokyo!

W-Well folks... Wolf managed to do it...


In a hard hitting move, and due to Jack's illness, South Gensokyo has been leveled to the ground. This destructive act by Wolf marks the end of the majorly populated areas of Gensokyo. It also marks the near genocide of the entirety of the Gensokyan people. Wolf has aimed his sights on leveling the entirety of Gensokyo, starting with the Moriya Shrine.

Well folks, Jack got a strange artifact...


He received a strange necklace and a message saying "Don't rely on the armlet forever." Signed by a mysterious W. Jack has been contemplating what this message means, and why he wouldn't trust the Gold Armlet. For those unaware, the Gold Armlet is a well, golden armlet embedded with a blue jewel that allows the holder to control 4 different spirits. Dytto, the Water Nymph; Efreet, the Fire Djinn; Shade, the Air shadow; and Bow, the Plant. The four spirits represent Air, Water, Fire and Earth, and as such, they must obey the commands of the wielder of the Gold Armlet. However, they do have minds of their own, and if the wielder so wishes, they may let them do their own thing.

Gensoarmy defends South Gensokyo!

Well folks, Jack turned rabble into soliders.


As mentioned in yesterday's article, Jack said South Gensokyo would be the last stand. Wolf was sadly not killed, but he was repelled by Jack and the newly formed "Gensoarmy", which comprises the citizens of Gensokyo left. Jack was able to majorly damage wolf in the fight, but Wolf retreated. So far, the remaining Bion are being wiped out of Gensokyo.

DEVELOPING: Gensokyo mounts defense force!

Well folks, Jack's in what remains of Gensokyo....


Jack, along side those that live, have decided to make South Gensokyo their final stand. In this stand, Jack and the remainders will fight Wolf and his troops. if they lose... they wont come back. This is their fight to the death, and should they die in the fight, they will have given their lives to stop Wolf.


Jack... I hope you can repel him...

Wolf levels most of Gensokyo!

Well folks... there might not be a Gensokyo anymore...


In a string of recent attacks, Wolf has leveled most of Gensokyo to the ground. more than 80 percent of Gensokyo is now ruin. Currently, the survivors have fled to South Gensokyo, their last Bastion. This small area now has most of the remaining Gensokyans alive. If Wolf destroys it, he will most likely kill hundreds of lives.



We must hope they can mount a defense before it's too late...
